The Newton County Senior Activity and Wellness Center in Jasper will celebrate Newton County Fair Day on Friday, Aug. 23.
Meals at the center are offered to seniors for a $4 donation, Monday through Friday, from 11:30 a.m. - 12 p.m. All meals include 8 ounces of 2% milk. No age limit customers and carry out meals cost $6.

Thursday - Oven fried chicken, mashed potatoes, Normandy vegetables, wheat roll and sherbet.
Friday - Meatloaf, mashed potatoes, seasoned green beans, wheat roll and orange/pineapple medley.
Monday - Sloppy Joe on bun, baked potato wedge, summer coleslaw and pudding parfait.
Tuesday - Soft chicken tacos, Mexican rice, sautéed zucchini and ice cream.
Wednesday - Baked spaghetti, tuscan vegetables, spinach salad, Italian bread and fruited gelatin.
