The next drive through or dine in fish fry/chicken dinner will be from 2-5 p.m., Friday, July 12, at the Newton County Senior Activity and Wellness Center in Jasper.
For $11 get hand breaded fried fish or chicken strips, coleslaw, pinto beans, hushpuppies, pickled green tomatoes and peach crisp.
Proceeds benefit the center.
Meals at the center are offered to seniors for a $4 donation, Monday through Friday from 11:30 a.m. - 12 p.m. All meals include 8 ounces of 2% milk. No age limit customers and carry out meals cost $6.

Thursday - Pork tenderloin, pork gravy, roasted potatoes, buttered corn, wheat roll and peach crisp.
Friday - Spaghetti and meat sauce, broccoli florets, breadstick and chilled pineapples.
