The Mount Judea Heritage Fall Festival will be held Saturday, Oct. 12, from 10 a.m.-3p.m. on the Mt. Judea School grounds. This free event is meant to bring communities together and help retain the knowledge of the old ways of doing things through demonstration and teaching.
Students will be there fund raising. There will be BINGO, cake walk, baked goods, hot chocolate, apple cider, caramel apples and craft vendors. There will be demonstrators including cheese making, fermentation, wool spinning, and more. Story tellers will be telling the stories of Sam Davis.
A Davis Cemetery tour is planned again this year. The cemetery has been cleaned up and Travis Holt will be placing a new headstone, for Sam Davis, in the cemetery. Come and spend the afternoon with friends and neighbors, learn something new, tour the cemetery, hear stories told of days past and get your holiday shopping started.
