The Harrison Fire Department Rescue Team was paged out at 8:06 a.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 6, for a one vehicle accident on the 62/65 Bypass in Harrison between Pace Industries and Wood Motor Company.
The driver left the highway and hit a power pole guidewire, traveled up the guidewire and hit the power pole, and then landed on its side in the highway.
The driver was stabilized at the scene by NARMC EMTs and First Responders, then transported by ambulance to the AirEvac Lifeline pad to be flown out to a trauma center. The Harrison Police Department is investigating the cause of the wreck.
