BETHANY, Okla. - The Arkansas Tech baseball team emphatically completed a series sweep on the road of Southern Nazarene on Saturday afternoon as their offense scored 35 runs on 36 hits over 14 innings of play in the doubleheader.
GAME ONE
In the opener, the Wonder Boys would score 20 runs on 19 hits as they beat SNU 20-10 in seven innings. Of the 19 hits tallied by Tech, seven went for extra-bases with five of those leaving the yard. Tyler Sardelli and Christian Olea each had two of those extra-base hits as both had a double and a home run.
Olea's home run came in the third inning and was a solo shot, while Sardelli's was a two-run blast in the sixth.
Also homering for the Wonder Boys was Simon Murray, Sawyer Duddleston and Luke Ray. Murray's was a three-run homer in the first, Duddleston a solo job in the third and Ray's a grand slam in the seventh.
The Wonder Boys would score in five of the seven innings played and hung multiple runs in all of those frames. Their biggest inning was a seven-run seventh.
GAME TWO
In the second game, Tech would score 15 runs on 17 hits and beat the Crimson Storm 15-6. The Wonder Boys would hit a pair of home runs and three doubles to total five extra-base knocks.
Duddleston continued his strong game one in the second game and was 4-for-4 with a double, a home run and four RBIs. Sardelli would hit the other homer for his third homer of the series.
Olea and Murray had the other doubles in the game. Olea was 3-for-4 with four runs scored and three RBIs. Murray was 1-for-3 with three runs scored and a RBI.

The Wonder Boys will take to the road on Tuesday for a non-conference mid-week game at Henderson State. First-pitch is scheduled for 6 p.m.
