Shirley Ann Ewing, age 70 of Jasper, passed away Thursday February 11, 2021 at her home in Jasper.
The daughter of Verlin and Edna (Treat) Cross was born October 9, 1950 in Mt. Judea, AR.
Shirley was of Pentecostal faith. She enjoyed buying jewelry, drawing and spending time with her family. She also enjoyed working at the Newton County Sr. Center and eating at Subway.
She is preceded in death by her parents; sister, Charlene Reddell; brother, Dallas Cross; granddaughter, Christy Royce; great grandson, Lincoln Dubwig; and grandson-in-law, Tim "Button" Morse.
Shirley is survived by her husband, Mac Ewing of Jasper; her son, Keith Ewing and wife Tina of Jasper; her daughter, Cathy Royce and husband Stanley of Jasper; her brothers, Joe Cross and wife Rona of Jasper, and Jairl Cross of Everton; her sisters, Joyce Eddings and husband Ivan of Jasper, Linda Reddell of Springdale, AR, Doris Cross of Yardelle, AR, and Ava Cross of Everton; 4 grandchildren; and 14 great grandchildren.
Funeral service will be 2 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 23, 2021 at Coffman Funeral Home in Jasper with Rev. Steven Holt officiating. Burial will follow in Smith Cemetery in Vendor, AR.
Visitation will be 2-4 p.m., Sunday, February 14, 2021 at Coffman Funeral Home in Jasper.
Pallbearers will be Logan Denney, Randy Smith, Andrew Dubwig, Kenny Reddell, Bret Eddings, and Jason Campbell.
Honorary pallbearers are Jarrett Forbis, Draven Forbis, Elvis Middleton, Maddie Woodson, Annette Brasel, and all of Shirley's nieces and nephews.
