Participants in this year's Northwest Arkansas Quilting Workshop have only one session remaining to get their personal projects sewn up. The month-long series of programs ends Thursday, May 1, at the Signature Bank Community Room in downtown Harrison. The series of weekly workshops began last April 3. Attendance has been between 150-160 participants each Thursday, according to organizers.
The May 1 workshop will conclude with displaying the Mystery Quilts, and completion of other workshop projects and their evaluations.
The Searcy County Quilt Guild members will present "Creating a Coat of Many Colors." There will also be a presentation on veterans' quilts and/or quilts of valor.
