The Newton County Senior Activity and Wellness Center will serve up its next fish fry on Friday, Jan. 3. Drive through or dine in from 2-5 p.m. at the center.
For $11 the fish or chicken dinner includes hand breaded fired fish or chicken strips, coleslaw, pinto beans, hush puppies, pickled green tomatoes and peach crisp.
Additional fish is now $2 a piece or 10 for $15.
Proceeds benefit the center.
Meals at the center are offered to seniors for a $4 donation, Monday through Friday, from 11:30 a.m. - 12 p.m. All meals include 8 ounces of 2% milk. No age limit customers and carry out meals cost $8.60.

Thursday - Spaghetti and meat sauce, broccoli florets, garden salad, wheat roll and cake.
Friday - Homestyle ham and beans, fried potatoes with onions, seasoned greens, cornbread and cinnamon applesauce.
Monday: Roasted Greek chicken, rice pilaf, broccoli florets, egg roll and fudge bar.
Tuesday: Cream of potato soup, turkey and Swiss sandwich, baked potato chips, relish plate and fruit crisp.
Wednesday: Chicken pot pie, California vegetables, wheat roll and fresh fruit.
