The Newton County Library is hosting training classes for CPR, first aid and AED training led by Registered Nurse Tina James. The training will be held Saturday, April 27, at 10 a.m., at the library in Jasper.
Class size is limited to 20. Contact the library to sign up.
The courses are free to learn skills of $50 for Red Cross certification. Payment by cash or check is due at the class.
Also being offered that day at 2 p.m. is a Stop the Bleed training. This is a free class, but registration is required. The class size is limited to 15. Contact the library to sign up.
