HARRISON — The Ozark Mountain Bears and Lady Bears found some success on the baseball and softball diamonds.
The pair of teams earned a trip to the Class 2A Region 1 Baseball Tournament and the Class 2A Region 1 Softball Tournament.
Each played on Thursday in the tournaments that were held in Harrison.
When the dust had settled each squad was handed a season-ending loss.
The Lady Bears faced Hackett in the opening round. Hackett won the contest, 15-0.
Hackett only gave up two runs in the entire event as they scored 15 in each one contest on the way to the regional championship.
The 2A-1's champion, Cotter, finished fourth in the event.
Ozark Mountain's Bears met up with Hackett in the first round of their regional appearance.
The Bears scored, but Hackett won the contest, 28-1, to advance to the semifinals.
Hackett ended up in the finals, but they fell to 2A-1 championship Life Way Christian.
