President Pat Dixon conducted the Nov. 13 meeting of the Newton County Friends of the Library. After a brief business meeting, plans were finalized for a December fundraiser.
Bruce Wilburn will present a music program, "With a touch of Christmas," at the Mount Sherman Community Building, Saturday, Dec. 9, starting at 1 p.m. Admission is by donation.
The Nomination Committee will present a slate of officers to be voted on at the Dec. 11 meeting.
