Lady Panthers win big at Anstaff Relays

GREEN FOREST — There was a large separation from first to second in the senior girls division of Thursday’s Anstaff Relays held at Green Forest.
Yellville-Summit earned points in a multitude of events to total 125 points and the team victory. Harrison came in second with 90 points. Kingston was fourth with 72 points; Jasper, eighth, 30 points; Bergman, ninth, 17; Valley Springs, 11th, nine; Omaha, Berryville and Alpena tied for 14th with five points; and Marshall, 17th, three.
Yellville-Summit, First Place
The Lady Panthers tallied points on 20 different occasions on Thursday as the Yellville-Summit team amassed 125 points to win the event.
The team won four of the top honors. Kambree Gibson won the 200 Meter in 28.66. Jacey Davenport was first in the 400 Meter in 1:05.54. Janet Ridley won the Discus Throw at 92-03.00 and also won the Shot Put at 31-07.00.
Gibson took second in the 100 Meter in 13.46 as well as second in the 100 Hurdles in 18.09. Davenport was second in the 200 Meter in 29.44. Jordan Senn was secondi in the Discus Throw at 86-05.00.
Third-place finishes began with Davenport in the 100 Meter at 14.06 and Triple Jump at 32-00.0; Gibson’s Long Jump of 14-06.00; and Avery Dearmore with a Discus Throw of 78-03.00.
Gibson took fourth in the Triple Jump at 31-11.00. Kiara Doshier was fourth in the Pole Vault at 5-00.00. Emily Pena claimed fourth in the Shot Put at 27-01-00.
Gibson was fifth in the 400 Meter in 1:05.54. Dearmore was sixth in the 200 Meter in 31.97. Davenport was sixth in the Long Jump at 13-05.00; Dearmore finished sixth in the Shot Put at 26-02.00. Aim’e Walker-Dooley was eighth in the 3200 Meter at 15:05.23.
Harrison, Second Place
Despite Harrison senior Alex Hill winning top honors in five events, the Lady Goblins took second place with 90 points.
Hill won the 100 Meter in 13.03; the 100 Hurdles in 17.16; 300 Hurdles in 51.09; Long Jump at 15-07.50; and Triple Jump at 33-11.00.
Addie Jones took second in the 1600 Meter in 6:09.08. Abby Borland claimed second in the Pole Vault at 6-06.00. Hill finished third in the High Jump at 4-10.00. Chloe Hooten was third in the Pole Vault at 5-06.00. The 4X200 Relay team of Borland, Hooten, Avery Davis and Jaida Johnson were third in 2:09.42. The 4X100 Relay group of Borland, Hooten, Davis and Johnson finished fifth in 1:00.34.
Borland took seventh in the 100 Meter in 14.70.
Kingston, Fourth Place
The Lady Yellow Jackets had an athlete finish in every event as they claimed fourth place with 72 points.
Mellia Johnson took second in the 400 Meter in 1:08.31. The 4X200 Relay team of Renee Pittman, Libbie Johnson, Hope Cooper and Grace Cooper finished second in 2:03.12. The 4X400 Relay group of Grace Cooper, Hope Cooper, Libbie Johnson and Mellia Johnson were second in 4:50.75. In the 4X800 Relay, Brooke Villines, Libbie Johnson, Ashlyn Floyd and Jaiden Head were second in 12:10.68. The 4X100 Relay put Kingston in fourth in 59.74 with Pittman, Hope Cooper, Libbie Johnson and Grace Cooper.
Mellia Johnson was fourth in the 100 Hurdles in 18.86. Grace Cooper was fourth in the 300 Hurdles in 57.80. Head was fifth in the 800 Meter in 2:54.02. Floyd was fifth in the 3200 meter in 14:24.12. Lila Hartness took sixth in the 400 Meter in 1:13.13. Hope Cooper was sixth in the 800 Meter in 2:59.59.
Hartness was seventh in the Triple Jump at 27-10.00. McKenna Clemons was seventh in the Discus Throw at 68-03.00 and in the Shot Put at 26-01.00.
Pittman took eighth in the 200 Meter in 32.64 and in the 400 Meter in 1:16.37. Ashlyn Floyd was eighth in the 1600 Meter in 6:44.73. Grace Cooper was eighth in the High Jump in 4-06.00. Libbie Johnson finished eighth in the Triple Jump in 27-10.00.
Jasper, Eighth Place
A total of 30 points put the Lady Pirates of Jasper in eighth place.
Aubrey Henderson finished second in the 3200 Meter in 13:37.48. Haley Sexton was second in the Long Jump at 14-10.50; fourth in the 100 Meter in 14.14; and fourth in the 200 Meter in 30.44. Henderson took fifth in the 1600 Meter in 6:21.80.
Bergman, Ninth Place
The Lady Panthers tied for ninth place with Flippin after gaining 17 points.
Keira Dees collected all 17 points for the Bergman team. The sophomore took second in the 300 Hurdles in 55.76 and then fifth in the 100 Hurdles in 18.86. Dees was sixth in the Triple Jump at 28.05.00 and seventh in the 200 Meter in 32.62.
Valley Springs, 11th Place
A tie with Clinton at nine points put the Lady Tigers of Valley Springs in 11th place.
Two players earned points for the girls in green. Whitney Coffelt finished fifth in the Triple Jump at 30-03.00 and Emma Graddy was third in the Discus Throw at 72-09.00. Graddy also took fifth in the Shot Put at 26-00.00.
Berryville, 14th Place
The Lady Bobcats finished in a tie for 14th place with five points.
Gisselle Estrada claimed fifth in the Long Jump at 13-08.25 and an eighth place finish in the 100 Meter in 14.79.
Omaha, 14th Place
The Lady Eagles were 14th after gaining five points on the day.
Shelby Whitehurst was sixth in the 100 Meter in 14.68 and took seventh in the 800 Meter.
Alpena, 14th Place
Five points put the Lady Leopards into a three way tie for 14th place.
Addy Fultz finished in fourth in the Discus Throw at 74-01.00.
Marshall, 17th Place
Summer Reece was the lone finisher for Marshall to collect three points and a 17th place finish.
Reece took sixth place in the Discus Throw at 69-02.00.
