Get ready for Senior Games

The Newton County Senior Activity and Wellness Center has announced that this year's Senior Games will begin April 11 with the Women's 8 Ball Pool tournament on Friday, April 11. It will be followed by the Men's 8 Ball Pool tournament on April 18. Both events will be held at the Fayetteville Senior Center.
A bowling tournament is scheduled for April 24. Track and field day will be may 1 at the Harrison High School.
Meals at the center are served Monday through Friday from 11:30 a.m. - 12 p.m. A $4 donation is appreciated from clients. No age limit and carry-outs cost $8.60 per meal. All meals include 8 ounces of 2% milk.

Wednesday - Open faced hot turkey sandwich, mashed potatoes, mixed vegetable, white roll and vanilla pudding.

Thursday - Boneless breaded pork chop, cream gravy, mashed potatoes, buttered corn, wheat roll and Mandarin oranges.
Friday - Teriyaki chicken, mashed potatoes, broccoli, wheat roll and oatmeal cookies.
Monday - Roasted Greek chicken, rice pilaf, broccoli florets, egg roll and fudge bar.
Tuesday - Cream of potato soup, turkey salad sandwich, baked potato chips, relish plate and fruit crisp.
Wednesday - Herb pork cutlet, brown gravy, mashed potatoes, seasoned greens, wheat roll and chilled pears.
