Garry Reddell, 53, of Hasty

Garry Lyn Reddell, 53, of Hasty, died at Cox South Hospital in Springfield, Missouri, Sunday, Dec. 6 (2020). Funeral will be at Coffman Funeral Home in Jasper, at 2 p.m., Friday, Dec. 11 with Jim Bohannon officiating. Burial will follow in Smith Cemetery. There will be an open visitation from 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m., Thursday, Dec. 10, at the funeral home.

The son of Elzie and Carolyn Sue (Martin) Reddell was born in Harrison, May 26, 1967.

He was preceded in death by his father; his grandparents, Hollis and Imo Reddell and George and Mary Martin.

Garry was an active volunteer in the community. He was the Fire Chief of Hasty Fire Dept. and a firefighter for many years. He was on the Board of Directors for the Newton County Fair and Rodeo.  He was a First Responder and Justice of the Peace of Newton County. Garry was also a pee wee basketball coach for Western Grove.

Garry is survived by his wife of 34 years, Tammy Reddell, of Hasty; his mother, Carolyn Sue Reddell, of Hasty; hiis son, Tanner Reddell, of Pueblo, Colorado; his daughters, Erica Reddell, of Pendleton, Oregon and Morgan Reddell, of Russellville; his brother, Shaunie Reddell, of Piercetown; a grandson and other relatives.

Pallbearers will be Dalton Martin, Randy Byrd, Mike Dixon, Richard Campbell, Randy Samons and Thomas Lephiew.

Honorary pallbearers are Hasty Fire Department, Newton County Fair Board; Leroy Harris; and Cody Middleton.
