The Newton County Senior Activity and Wellness Center in Jasper will be hosting its third annual car show on Saturday, May 3. Registration is 9-11 a.m. Judging begins at 11 a.m. Trophy categories include: original cars, muscle cars, street rod, modified cars, new muscle cars, motorcycles, original trucks, modified trucks, Corvettes and a special trophy will be presented to the Senior Center Favorite.
Meals at the center are served Monday through Friday from 11:30 a.m. - 12 p.m. A $4 donation is appreciated from clients. No age limit and carry-outs cost $8.60 per meal. All meals include 8 ounces of 2% milk.

Friday - Crispy chicken salad, marinated cucumber salad, dinner roll and strawberry dessert bar.
