This has been a week of getting ready for Easter. On Wednesday night I went to choir practice to get ready for singing “Ah, Holy Jesus” and then the Hallelujah chorus on Easter Sunday. Thursday we went to church for Maundy Thursday service.
I was going to physical therapy to work on my neck on Friday morning when I had an accident. Thankfully, we were not injured, but there was damage to both vehicles. I have been so careful to not have an accident in all my years of driving! I have to say, I didn’t go to PT, afterall. There is so much traffic in the Rogers area. It is amazing the number of vehicles on the streets and it seems to be more all the time.
The weather has kept everyone up for hours each night since there are alarms going off all hours of the night! After I got home from church Sunday and the weather wasn’t good with high winds and rain and likely tornados in some areas, there were more alarms all afternoon.
My granddaughter, Mary Margaret, was born 22 years ago right before Easter. Her birthday is Thursday. It is hard to believe it has been 22 years since she was born. She will be graduating from college in May, from Missouri State University.
The dogwoods are blooming all over the hillsides! Since we have had lots of rain and cool weather, we will be seeing them popping up all over the hills. Get out and enjoy them.
Stay healthy, get out in the sunshine and get your garden ready to plant.
Have a great week!
