With a foreboding temperature forecast this week, the American Legion Post 93 in Jasper is a designated warming station for the Jasper and Newton County area. Facilities will be rudimentary, but warm. There is room in an emergency for over 40 people and if someone is frozen out of their home, contact us at the numbers below and they can be accommodated. The accommodations will be far better than being chilled to the bone.
