FAYETTEVILLE — Beau Cason, a 6-4, 205 receiver from Shiloh Christian in Springdale, declared Thursday he will enroll at the University of Arkansas and join Coach Sam Pittman’s 2020 Razorbacks as a walk-on.

“I would like to thank Coach Pittman and all of the coaches at Arkansas who have taken the time to reach out to me,” Cason posted Thursday on Twitter. “With that being said, I’m excited to announce that I will be continuing my academic and athletic career at the University of Arkansas.”

Cason caught 51 passes for 722 yards with nine touchdowns in No. 2 tandem with Shiloh Christian receiver Truitt Tollet whom he joins at Arkansas as preferred walk-ons.

Tollett in 2020 caught 134 passes for 2,046 yards and 30 touchdowns.

Meanwhile through the transfer portal Coach Dave Van Horn’s baseball Razorbacks have added Northern Colorado University pitcher Isaac Bracken.

Bracken, a right-hander, comes to Arkansas as a graduate transfer with one season of eligibility
