RUSSELLVILLE — Two Arkansas Tech baseball players were named to ABCA/Rawlings Division II All-Central Region teams, as senior Dylan McDearmon picked up a first-team nod while junior Tristan Thomas collected a second team nod.

The selection for McDearmon was the second first-team pick of his career, while both players were previously selected to D2CCA all-region squads.

McDearmon was a first team all-GAC pick after hitting .349 on the season, smashing a team-best 11 homers and driving in 39 runs. He walked 21 times and fanned 21 times, going a perfect 7-for-7 in stolen base attempts. He racked up seven three-hit games his senior year.

Thomas, a native of Glendale, Ariz., led the Wonder Boys with a .401 batting average, smashing six homers and driving in 49 runs in his junior campaign. He was a perfect 13-of-13 in stolen bases on the season, while fanning just 11 times. He was named to the all-Great American Conference second team earlier this year.
