Artists inspires Western Grove students

Excitement was added the last two days of school at Western Grove by a visit from artist Dale Tabor and his wife Becky. Second graders watch in awe as Dale paints with his mouth. Fifty years ago a near-fatal accident left him a quadriplegic. Always interested in art he saw a mouth stick artist and thought that he could do that. And what a career he has made. More inspirational than his works of art is his amazing attitude that he shares with the students about staying positive and always doing the best they can with the abilities they have.
