William Dale “Bill” Willard, 73, died Wednesday, April 29 (2020). Due to current government restrictions on crowd size, the funeral and visitation will be private. Arrangements by Holt Memorial Chapel, Harrison.
The son of the late Bill Willard and Ruth Carpenter, was born in Des Moines, Iowa on April 15, 1947.
Bill was employed at Dogpatch USA for a few years. He then began employment for the Buffalo National River in 1978 where he retired in 2006.
Survivors include his wife of 50 years, Lois Shadow Willard, of the home; four sisters; a brother; his sister- in-law, Eunice Shaddox, of the home; his four daughters; Dawn Phillips, of Batavia, Samantha Brightwell, of Gaither, Liberty Morris, of Jasper and Sunny Salmon, of Brownsburg, Indiana; six granddaughters; six grandsons; three great-granddaughters and four great-grandsons and other relatives.
Pallbearers are his grandsons.
Honorary Pallbearers are Jordan Chaney, Hospice of the Hills and Dr. Geoffrey Dunaway.
Memorials can be made to the Shaddox Cemetery or to Hospice of the Hills in Harrison.
