Samuel Dean Rosco Freeman, 67, of Jasper, died at Baxter Regional Medical Center in Mountain Home on Saturday, Sept. 1 (2018). Private interment was at the family plot in Morning Star.
He was born at Morning Star on March 22, 1951. His parents were the late John Wiley and Hiawatha Freeman. He was a mechanic. He worked at the Jasper School before opening a shop at his home garage.
He is survived by Mari, of the home; two sons, Rickey, of Argentina and Mead, of Harrison; two daughters, Gina, of Hindsville and Megan of Harrison; sisters, Jonnie, Rose, Jane, Tammy and Mona; brothers, Jim and John; 11 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers are Mead Freeman, Dustin Stanbrough, Gene Bell, Tim Stoll, Everett Jr., Taylor Cole and Tyler Cole.
Special thanks are given to his good friend and doctor Jimmy Justice.
