Marie Phillips, 92, of Jasper, died Thursday, Oct. 31 (2019) at North Arkansas Regional Medical Center in Harrison. Memorial service will be at later date. Cremation and arrangements are by Coffman Funeral Home of Jasper.
The daughter of Charles and Clara Bell Hodge was born May 15, 1927 in Lead Hill.
She is preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Joe Trice Phillips.
Marie married Joe on Nov. 26, 1961 and they lived in Jasper. She worked at Levi Strauss in Harrison before opening the Buffalo Gift Shop in Jasper.
She is survived by her son, Johnny Joe Phillips, of Jasper.
