Linda Mae Smith, 71, of Pelsor, died at Washington Regional in Fayetteville on Friday, May 10 (2019). Visitation will be Wednesday, May 15, at Coffman Funeral Home in Jasper. Funeral will be 2 p.m. Thursday, May 16, at the Lurton Assembly of God Church in Lurton with Pastor Stan Taylor officiating. Burial will follow in Smith Cemetery.
She was born Oct. 10, 1947 to Sam and Alma (Bolin) Dotson. She attended Deer High School and married Luell Smith on Sept. 13, 1964.
Linda and Luell worked in the Log Woods and Sawmill for over 40 years. She was proceeded in death by her father, Sam Dotson; two brothers, Jim Dotson and Glen Dotson and an infant son.
She is survived by her husband of 55 years, Luell Smith; her daughters, Sandy Weber, of Harrison and Stephanie Sinyard, of Russellville; her mother, Alma Dotson; three sisters, Debbie Middleton, Jackie Rylee and Donna Govoro; two grandchildren; many nieces and nephews.
