Lena Mae Villines, 55, of Compton, died at Cox Medical Center in Branson, Missouri, on Wednesday, May 15 (2019). Visitation will be 2-4 p.m., Sunday, May 19, at Coffman Funeral Home in Jasper. Funeral will be 10 a.m., Monday, May 20, at the funeral home chapel with Rev. Billy Paul Matlock, Rev. Nathan Daniels, Rev. Waylon Villines and Rev. Stanton Willis officiating. Burial will follow in Little Buffalo Cemetery.

The daughter of Leslie and Pauline (Jenkins) Daniels was born in Harrison on March 14, 1964.

She was preceded in death by her father, Leslie Daniels and a stepdaughter, Dianna Smith.

Lena was president of the Newton County Round Up Club. She was also involved in 4-H and Team Leader of the Buckles and Spurs. Lena was a member of the Little Buffalo Church. She taught her Sunday School class and was the pianist and song leader at church. She would also sing at the Ponca Historic Church every Saturday.

She is survived by her husband, Lynn Villines, of Compton; her son, Corby Daniels Villines, of Compton; her mother, Pauline Daniels, of Harrison; her stepchildren, Tammy Ply, Tavis Villines and Evan Villines, all of Harrison and Zachary Villines, of Vendor; her brother, Lester; eight stepgrandchildren and many other relatives.

Pallbearers will be James Wilson, Loyd Ford, Robert Cain, Gene Clagott, Glenn Statler and Zachary Villines.

Honorary pallbearers are Rev. Frank Whiteside, Rev. Jerry Bryant, Rev. Bobby Young, Rev. Barnie Hickman, Cletus Wilson, Mark Price, Steve Henderson, all members of the Little Buffalo Church and Sunday School, Nursing staff of NARMC and Dr. Jay Beck and staff of Highlands Oncology Group.
