Gene O. Williams, 79, of Hindsville, passed away Wednesday, June 26, 2019, at his home. He was born Thursday, June 29, 1939, at Shiloh, Newton County, Arkansas, to James and Dorothy Reynolds Williams.

Gene was preceded in death by his parents, a son-in-law, Shane Fullmer, two brothers, a sister, two nephews and a niece.

Gene is survived by a daughter, Sharon Sizemore, and husband, Johnnie, of Springdale; daughter, Brenda Fullmer, of Fayetteville; son, Gary Williams and wife Michelle of Fayetteville; 10 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren; two brothers, Bill Williams, of Hindsville and Larry Williams, of Springdale; two sisters, Reba Self, of Shiloh and Freda McLeroy, of Springdale; 13 nieces and nephews.

He was a member of the Gospel Lighthouse Church in Hindsville and a lifelong truck driver, farmer and worked with Larry Williams Auctions.

Also a very loving and compassionate person and spent lots of time visiting family and friends during their hospital stays. He was a faithful servant of the Lord. The family would like to thank everyone for all the prayers, the visits with Dad and the continued support for the family.

The family will receive friends 2-4 p.m., Sunday, June 30, 2019, at Brashears Funeral Home.

Funeral services will be 10 a.m., Monday, July 1, 2019, at Brashears Funeral Home with Bill Williams and James Howell officiating.

Pallbearers will be Scott Sizemore, Jacob Williams, Jerrod Williams, Jerry Tharpe, Ronnie Skirvin, Michael Caudle, Justin Wood and Jerry Perkins.

Honorary Pallbearers will be Danny Shock, Danny Marsh, Jerry Bennett, Bobby Johnson, Roy Self, Partrick Robbins, and Dewayne Evans. Interment will immediately follow services at Shiloh Cemetery, Shiloh, Newton County, Arkansas.

Services are entrusted to Brashears Funeral Home and Crematory of Huntsville.
