Charles Junior Hill, 82, of Bass

Charles Junior Hill, 82, of Bass, died at Mount Vista Rehabilitation and Health Center in Harrison on Monday, June 3 (2019). Services will be at 3 p.m., Saturday, June 8, at Coffman Funeral Home Chapel in Harrison with Kerry Liggett officiating. Visitation will be from 2-3 p.m., prior to the service at the funeral home.

Charles Junior Hill, 82, of Bass, died at Mount Vista Rehabilitation and Health Center in Harrison on Monday, June 3 (2019). He was born in Iceledo on June 15, 1937. His parents were the late Enos Montgomery and Myrtie Dickey Hill.

He was a retired bus driver and mechanic for Mt. Judea and Western Grove schools. He was also a retired rural carrier for the USPS. He had been a constable for Newton County back in the 1970's.

He was preceded in death by three wives, five sisters and eight brothers.

Junior is survived by his five daughters, Virginia Cupps, of Western Grove, Carolina Raver, of Western Grove, Bobbie Franck, of Vilonia, Karen Shappell, of Fayetteville and Juanita Gilbert, of Western Grove; 17 grandchildren, 30 great-grandchildren and seven great-great-grandchildren.
