Bobby L. Young, Sr., 75, died at his home in Harrison on Saturday, June 1 (2019). A private celebratory service will be held.
He was born in Alexandria, Louisiana, on Feb. 29, 1944. His parents are the late Louis and Jewel (McGurk) Young. He was a machinist and retired from Exxon. He moved to Arkansas in 1996, residing in Newton County then Boone County.
Bobby was preceded in death by a sister, Pam Melon.
He is survived by his wife of 43 years, Margarett (Jones) Young; four daughters, Terry Williams, of Louisiana, Darla Sanchez, of New Mexico, Megan Young, of Arkansas and Casey Burch of Missouri; a son, Bobby Young, Jr., of Texas; 10 grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren.
