Betty Fay Yancy, 77, of Deer, died at Baxter Regional Medical Center in Mt. Home on Monday, March 25 (2019). Visitation will be 6-8 p.m., Thursday, March 28, at Coffman Funeral Home in Jasper. Funeral will be 11 a.m., Friday, March 29, at Falling Water Church in Pope County with Bob Chisum and Jimmy Bohannon officiating. Burial will follow in Deer Cemetery.
She was born at Deer on July 16, 1941. Her parents were the late Finis and Imogene Williams.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Junior Yancy and two brothers, Bob and Ronnie Williams.
Betty worked on the family Swine farm until she retired in 2008, but continued to do the farm book keeping until 2013.
She is survived by her children, daughters, Debbie Freeman, of Hector and Kelley Reynolds, of Ben Hur; her sons, Tim Ewing, of Jasperand Robin Ewing, of Deer; her sisters, Mary Taylor, of Bergman, Linda Bohannon, of Deer, Joy Rocole, of Swain and Joyce Campbell, of Deer; her brothers, Don Williams, of Dover, Doyne Williams, of Deer and Delbert Williams, of Deer and 10 grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Steve Michael Freeman, Ben Hankins, Jim Ewing, Mark Ewing, Jessie Ewing and Wyatt Reynolds.
Honorary pallbearers are Henry Rocole, Harl Bohannon, Ty Reynolds, Michael Ewing, Joseph Williams and Austin Williams.
