Alene Greenhaw, 80, of Vendor, died in Jasper on Friday, Feb. 8 (2019). Visitation will be Tuesday, Feb. 12 at Holt Memorial Chapel from 5-7 p.m. Graveside service is Wednesday, Feb. 13 at 10 a.m., at Carver Cemetery in Hasty. Roger Greenhaw will officiate.

The daughter of the late T.J. and Ethel (Eddings) Fiveash was born in Hasty on March 25, 1938. Alene was a homemaker and lived in Newton County most of her life.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Eldon Harold Greenhaw and a sister, Florene Smith.
Survivors include her children, RogerGreenhaw, of Bass, Nelson Greenhaw, of Vendor, Vivian Campbell, of Deer; Theshia Crow, of Harrison, Rebecca Raulston, of Jasper and Roy Greenhaw, of Harrison; brothers, Art Fiveash, Bruce Fiveash and Luther Fiveash; 11grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers are Gary Smith, Tommy Fiveash, Brent Raulston, Trenton Royce, Kevin McCutcheon, and Kevin Lafollette.
Honorary pallbearers include Gentry Greenhaw, Staff and residents at Newton County Nursing Home, Joe Holt, Jr., Robbie Flud, and Linda Holt.
