Newton County EHC attends state EHC meeting in Hot Springs.

The Arkansas Extension Homemakers Annual State Meeting took place this year June 4 - 6 at the Hot Springs Convention Center Approximately 400 members from throughout the state were in attendance. The theme this year was "Better Together". Key note speaker was Phyllis Bell, Child Welfare Senior Advisor and Intern Director for Governor Asa Hutchinson.

The members had opportunities to attend numerous workshops and educational classes on a variety of topics.

County members attending were Laura Dobbs, Newton County EHC President, Phyllis Casey, Newton County EHC Vice President and President-Elect for Newton County EHC, Randa Williams, President of Smith Mountain EHC and Vice-President Elect for Newton County EHC, and Linda Dodson, Deer Lady Bugs EHC member. Also, attending with the group was Marsha Horton, Newton County FCS/4-H Agent.
