The Jasper Pioneers Extension Homemakers Club met Wednesday, Sept. 9, at the Mt. Sherman Community Building.

President Terry Edwards conducted the meeting with seven members present.

Calvin Voshell led the members in the Pledge of Allegiance.

The new project is for each member to send four greeting cards with a note to nursing home residents during the pandemic since they cannot have visitors. Cards will be mailed the third Wednesday of the month as each resident should get a card on the same day.

A total of 129 volunteer hours were recorded for the month of August.

Linda Fusson, Kim Luper and Betty Stivers gave birthday blessing money.

The next club meeting will be Oct. 14.
