Jasper Community Garden taking bed requests

Jasper Community Garden members and guests will meet March 1, 2021 in the Jasper United Methodist Church fellowship hall at 5:30 p.m. If you would like a garden plot for the coming year and have not registered for one, please stop by the Jasper City Hall and request a Membership form and/or a Garden Bed Request form.

If you are a resident of Newton County, please consider joining the Jasper Community Garden and request a bed for the 2021 growing season. If you would like a garden plot for the coming year and have not registered for one, please stop by the Jasper City Hall and request a Membership form and/or a Garden Bed Request form. The forms should be completed and returned to City Hall. Or, you may request the forms by mail at P.O. Box 337, Jasper, AR 72641.

Garden bed assignments will be issued for a one-year period expiring on January 31st of each year. Application for a garden bed should be received as soon as possible so that plot assignments can be made in time for the start of the growing season. Also, returning gardeners from the previous year must also complete a new garden bed request form for the 2021 growing season.

The Jasper Community Garden is a non-profit charitable organization and complies with the IRS 501(c)(3) requirements. Community involvement is encouraged for all county residents, especially for those who do not have land available to them for gardening.
