THE ENTIRE ROCKWELL — Free of cultural restraints and the thirst from marketers for profitable imagery of "Americana," the Crystal Bridges Museum of American Art in Bentonville, Ark. is hosting Norman Rockwell's "American Chronicles" artwork collection. The "American Chronicles: The Art of Norman Rockwell" exhibit will run through May 27, and it features works from Rockwell that include his famous "Saturday Evening Post" covers. But what may be more significant to many, are his works that feature strong social commentary of culture in the 1950s and 1960s, civil rights issues and portrayal of American life that never saw the cover of the "Post."
