Mt. Judea High School distributed 80 Kindle Fire HD tablets to students Thursday afternoon during the school's parent/teacher conferences. The Focus School was eligible for a grant to purchase the tablets at a cost of $369 each. Each student and a parent had to sign a statement of understanding of equipment use policy and assume complete responsibility for the Kindle while it is checked out to the student.
