A little more excitement has just been announced for the upcoming Newton County Fair. That excitement is promising to bring a little bit of Hollywood.

On Monday, the Newton County Fair Grounds made an announcement on their official Facebook page promising “exciting things in the works at the Newton County Fair & Rodeo.” They announced that scenes for an upcoming Angel Productions film, “Faith, Hope, and Love,” would be filmed during the upcoming fair and rodeo.

Said the fairgrounds, “…Our rodeo crowd, arena, and all the excitement of Newton County could become part of a feature film!” Locals are even being given that chance to appear in the film.

According to the Fairgrounds, those who would like a chance to appear in the film should come to Bull Jam, as well as the Friday and Saturday Rodeos, and to keep an look out for the designated filming areas. For those not ready for your closeup, keep a look out for those signs and sit in the designated areas to avoid being captured.

According to a video launched by the makers of the film, “Faith, Hope, and Love,” is about a family in a small town and tells three interconnected stories focusing on the concepts of Faith, Hope, and Love.

The Newton County Fair and Rodeo will be taking place Aug. 22 – 29. The Bull Jam will be on Thursday, Aug. 27 with the Rodeo Aug. 28-29.
