Our grand twins Zac and Zeb Martin will be 11 this year. Their papa, Johnny Martin, will be 82. Also, birthday blessings to his brother. JR, and niece, Skyli Martin Sloan, Emily Matlock, Joei Phillips, Adrianne Ruth Sloan, Glendal Reynolds, Laken Stone, Kayla and Susie Tennison, Jan Larson, Jerri Watson, Carolyn Willis and Blant Young. My sister Becky Brasel and nephew Donnie Williams will celebrate another birthday!
There were several celebrations last month that I may have missed: Tinsley Martin had a birthday party and Kole Willis had a 7th year birthday party. Huntlea Pettis and Carter Wade celebrated their 5th birthday, and Jerry Liggett, Betty Davis, Bethany Cox, Dennis Little, Roy Carter, Crystal Young had a big 50th birthday bash and Dorlon Brown received a 90th birthday celebration. Happy birthday to Melissa Winnat, Betty Davis and Wynona Brown, all celebrated another birthday.
How about some happy anniversary blessings to: Kathy and Ralph Graves, and Spanky and Yvonne Woods.
Last month, Peggy and Dorlan Sparks celebrated their anniversary, Quentin and Janet Rylea celebrated their 38th anniversary and my neighbors Dwayne and Fay Knox celebrated their 56th anniversary. Charlie and Donna Rocole celebrated another anniversary and Jerry and Kim Liggett celebrated their anniversary.
We extend our deepest sympathies to the families and friends of Frankie Mulanax and Bobby Carlton. We send get well wishes to Niki Smith and Renita Plumlee.
Congratulations to some very accomplished people in our community: Deer’s Kaden Moore and Mason Guinnip passes the 1,000 + career points. Deer’s Vernie Heydenrich was Deer Employee of the Month. Larry Davis attended Colors Day in Atkins for his granddaughter Rylea Race. Johnny Martin and I celebrated colors day with our grandson, Hayden Martin, in Harrison.
The ice and snow was sure hard on the old farmer last month, but our water didn’t freeze this time.
Rocky Martin, Loreshia Heffley, Jesse Martin and Kenny King visited us and we received a visit from our neighbor Marshal Pettis. Our neighbors, Kennth Ogden, Bruce Wilburn and Nick Martin called to check on us, too!
Happy Valentines Day and share lots of love. We all need love and if you’re blessed to receive cards, chocolates and flowers, then say thank you all the more! I’m happy with a hug and a cup of coffee.
