Senior center dinner and auction Thursday

The Newton County Senior Activity and Wellness Center in Jasper will have a dinner and auction, Thursday, April 17, starting at 5 p.m.
The dinner menu includes: Meatloaf, mashed potatoes, gravy, broccoli and cheese sauce, roll, peach cobbler and ice cream.
Auction items include Branson show tickets, food certificates and lots of new merchandise.
Meals at the center are served Monday through Friday from 11:30 a.m. - 12 p.m. A $4 donation is appreciated from clients. No age limit and carry-outs cost $8.60 per meal. All meals include 8 ounces of 2% milk.

April 17-23

Thursday - Cheese enchilada, fiesta rice, pico de Gallo, sour cream and strawberries with topping.
Friday - Chopped steak and mushroom gravy, mashed potato casserole, multi-color cauliflower, roll and marbled cheesecake.
Monday - Broccoli and cheese quiche, garden blend rice, her roasted tomatoes, roll and fruit parfait.
Tuesday - Barbecued beef brisket, sweet potato wedge, baked beans, cornbread and oatmeal cookie.
Wednesday - Marinated chicken, Parmesan basil Orzo, baby carrots, roll and pear crisp.
