The Newton County Senior Activity and Wellness Center in Jasper will be closed Wednesday, Jan. 1, in observance of the New Year holiday. The center will resume its monthly fish fry on January 3.
A $4 donation is appreciated for daily meals served Monday through Friday from 11:30 a.m. - 12 p.m. No age limit and carry-outs cost $8.60. All meals include 8 ounces of 2% milk.
