OMSD has easy time with HHB

WESTERN GROVE — Ozark Mountain hosted Haas Hall, Bentonville for 2A-1 basketball action.
When the night was over, Bear Nation had picked up three wins. The senior boys team posted a 67-55 win. The Lady Bears were victorious, 83-20, and the Junior Bears won, 47-10.

Senior Boys

Ozark Mountain had to come from behind to beat Haas Hall, Bentonville, 67-55.
Haas Hall hit six 3-pointers in the second period and moved ahead of the Bears, 32-27.
The Bears had 23 points in the first period and then scored only four in the second frame.
Tate Dixon took over in the third period for the Bears. He scored nine points and the Bears cut two points off of the Haas Hall lead.
Things broke free for Ozark Mountain in the fourth period.
They scored 25 points which included 15 points from Dixon. Haas Hall only scored 10 points in the last eight minutes of play.
Dixon finished the game with 34 points. Kooper Baker added 14, Mason Gilmore eight, Cobie Chaney six, Marcus Fields three and Jake Zemlik two.

Senior Girls

Ozark Mountain had enough points after the first period to claim a victory over Haas Hall, Bentonville.
The Lady Bears led, 28-4, at the first break. Kierra Kleinert had 14 points and Jailyn Jackson had two 3-pointers in the frame.
In the second period, Ozark Mountain scored 31 points with Kelly Middleton hit 13 of those. Jackson added 10.
It was a 59-12 game at halftime.
Leading the Lady Bears in scoring was Jackson with 16 points. Kleinert added 15, Middleton 13, Chloe Marshall, Jasmine Fletcher and Annalynn McCutcheon eight apiece, Jazmin Roulain seven, Tara Yocham four and Brooklynn Tennnison and Brooklynn Cunningham two each.

Junior Boys

Ozark Mountain gained an early advantage and never looked back on the way to posting a 47-10 victory.
The Junior Bears led 11-2 after one period of play and 31-6 at intermission.
Leading the Junior Bears in scoring was Sammie Riddell with 19 points. Ben Tramell added nine, Logan Sisco six, Bentley Middleton five, Donnie Flud four and Gage Kleinert two.
