The next Newton County Activity and Wellness Center fish fry is Friday, April 11, at the center in Jasper.
Drive through or dine inside from 2-5 p.m. For $11 get either hand breaded fired fish or chicken strips with fixings. Additional fish is $2 a piece, or 10 pieces for $15.

Meals at the center are served Monday through Friday from 11:30 a.m. - 12 p.m. A $4 donation is appreciated from clients. No age limit and carry-outs cost $8.60 per meal. All meals include 8 ounces of 2% milk.

Thursday - Chicken cob salad, pasta salad, wheat roll and tropical fruit dream.
Friday - Sliced baked ham, macaroni and cheese, greens, biscuit and blondie brownie.
Monday - Mushroom Swiss burger, tater tot and ice cream sundae.
Tuesday - Grilled chicken salad, potato salad, breadstick and white cake with chocolate icing.
Wednesday - Breaded fish, French fries, marinated vegetable salad, dinner roll and pound cake.
