Magic Springs announces 'Total Eclipse of the Park' celebration

HOT SPRINGS — Magic Springs, the Thrill Capital of Arkansas, announces a special, one-day-only event on Monday, April 8, 2024 to celebrate the total solar eclipse set to cross Arkansas that day.
The "Total Eclipse of the Park" celebration will run from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. on April 8, transforming the park into the region's most exciting place to witness this once-in-a-generation moment. In addition to all the rides, fun and food Magic Springs is known for, the special event will feature games, a catered meal, live DJ and a foam party immediately following the return of the sun. Magic Springs will be open for regular theme park operation on the days preceding this special event, April 6 and 7, offering visitors days of fun while in town over the weekend.
"An out-of-this-world event deserves an out-of-this-world celebration," said Magic Springs General Manager Jessyka Hanna. "The 2024 Great American Eclipse is something most people will remember for the rest of their lives, and there's no better place in Arkansas to make special memories than Magic Springs."
Totality over the park begins at 1:49 p.m. on April 8, with the blackout continuing for 3 minutes and 30 seconds. Each ticket holder will receive a free pair of "Total Eclipse of the Park” glasses that allow them to safely view the event.
Special Events during the "Total Eclipse of the Park" event include:
DJ Kramer with fun family games including Baggo, Giant Twister and Connect Four at Timberwood Amphitheater, 11 a.m. - 4 p.m.

Catered meal, 11 a.m. - 2 p.m. at the catering pavilions near Timberwood Amphitheater
Free "Foam Party" at Timberwood Amphitheater, 2 - 4 p.m.
Sparkle Mi Face Painting, across from the pavilions, 11 a.m. - 4 p.m.
Magic Springs season passes will not be accepted for this event, so all guests must purchase a ticket to attend. Special, one-day tickets for the event can be purchased through the park’s website: www.magicsprings.com/total-eclipse.
Adult tickets for the "Total Eclipse of the Park" celebration are $69.99 plus tax. Children under 48 inches tall are $49.99 plus tax. Kids 3 years old or younger get in free. One-day parking pass is $20.00 including tax. Catered meal is $25 plus tax per person, and includes two entrees, two sides and a drink. A limited number of event tickets and catered meals are available and must be purchased online in advance. Concession stands at the park will also be open all day. Visitors who purchase a ticket to the "Total Eclipse of the Park" event can upgrade their ticket to a 2024 Magic Springs season pass for $19.99 plus tax.
