HOT SPRINGS — Magic Springs, the Thrill Capital of Arkansas, announces a special, one-day-only event on Monday, April 8, 2024 to celebrate the total solar eclipse set to cross Arkansas that day.
The "Total Eclipse of the Park" celebration will run from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. on April 8, transforming the park into the region's most exciting place to witness this once-in-a-generation moment. In addition to all the rides, fun and food Magic Springs is known for, the special event will feature games, a catered meal, live DJ and a foam party immediately following the return of the sun. Magic Springs will be open for regular theme park operation on the days preceding this special event, April 6 and 7, offering visitors days of fun while in town over the weekend.
"An out-of-this-world event deserves an out-of-this-world celebration," said Magic Springs General Manager Jessyka Hanna. "The 2024 Great American Eclipse is something most people will remember for the rest of their lives, and there's no better place in Arkansas to make special memories than Magic Springs."
Totality over the park begins at 1:49 p.m. on April 8, with the blackout continuing for 3 minutes and 30 seconds. Each ticket holder will receive a free pair of "Total Eclipse of the Park” glasses that allow them to safely view the event.
