HARRISON — There were 18 teams that scored points in the Rosson Relays in Harrison on Thursday night.
Kingston was one of those teams. The squad ended the night with 49 points which was good enough for seventh-place.
Branson, Mo. won the event. The squad had 99 points followed by Yellville-Summit with 93.
Harrison finished third with 67 points while Green Forest edged Omaha with 63.5 points while the Lady Eagles ended with 61.5.
Rural Special was sixth in the meet with 50 points.
Ozark Mountain ended the meet with seven points which tied the squad for 17th place.
Green Forest, Yellville-Summit and Omaha won the most events. All three schools won four events each during the meet.
Harrison picked up two wins while Kingston, Rural Special, Valley Springs, Lead Hill and Branson each won one apiece.
Kingston got all of their points from three athletes.
Kylee Weaver, Delaney Reddell and LeeLou Kilbourn each racked up points for the Lady Yellow Jackets.
Leading the Lady Yellow Jacket attack with Weaver. She placed in four events including winning the High Jump. She had a leap fo 4-10 to claim the top spot.
Weaver was fifth in the 300 Meter Hurdles in a time of 1:00.47. She was fifth in the 100 Meter Hurdles in 20.62 and seventh in the Triple Jump in 27-8.
Reddell also placed in four events. She was fourth in the 400 Meter Dash in 1:10.80; fifth in the Long Jump at 14-7; sixth in the 200 Meter Dash at 30.26; and eighth in the Triple Jump at 27-8.
Kilbourn finished second in the 800 Meter Dash. She ran the race in 2:46.21. She also had a third place finish in the 1600 Meter Run. She completed that race in 6:07.12.
Ozark Mountain had two athletes that placed in the meet. Hannah Wheeler was third in the Discus. She had a throw of 68-4. MaHaley Gilmore was eighth in the 400 Meter Dash. She finished the race in 1:13.22.
