RUSSELLVILLE – Arkansas Tech's junior pitcher John Gray has been named as the latest Great American Conference Pitcher of the Week as the league announced its weekly honors late Tuesday afternoon.
The weekly conference award is the second of the season for the Youngsville, La. native and the fourth in his career.
In earning his second GAC Pitcher of the Week honor this year, Gray set the tone for the Wonder Boys in their road weekend series at No. 22 Southern Arkansas as he pitched into the ninth inning of the Friday night game.
