The Jasper High School Class of 1971 met to celebrate their 50th class reunion Saturday, May 1, at Western Sizzlin in Harrison.
Attending the reunion celebration were nine class members and several spouses, all residing in the Northwest region of Arkansas with the exception of Jimmy Harrison, who now resides in Oklahoma.
The Class of 71 had 20 members of which four, Doris Kay (Keef) Trulove, Sharon Ann (Smith) Wallin, Ruby Arlene (Spears) Drewry and Bill Gibson are now deceased.
Those in attendance enjoyed a Dutch treat meal and a time of fellowship. Each brought with them a short biography and photos to share. Class members received a mini annual in booklet form updating them on the class of ‘71 news.
