The annual Jasper, Arkansas, Information and Job Fair returns to Jasper's Bradley Park on Friday, April 25, from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m.
Added this year will be information about emergency and disaster preparedness presented by Newton County Community Matters.
The annual event is put on by the City of Jasper. This year's fair is being coordinated by Quinnell Land, of the Little Buffalo River Visitors and Convention Center in Jasper.
Janice Mann chairs the emergency and disaster preparedness committee of Community Matters, the coalition of faith based and non-profit organizations serving the residents of Newton County. She will be organizing vendors and organizations presenting information focusing on individual and family preparations in case of disasters.
Last year, more than a dozen organizations presented information about their programs, services and job openings.
