The Friends of the Newton County Library has announced it will be sponsoring a Honey of a Book Sale in October at the library. It will be taking pre-orders for 11 ounce bottles of honey from the Dakota Boys and Girls Ranch.
For a donation of $10 or more, a bottle of honey will be shipped to you home from the ranch headquartered in Minot, North Dakota.
The book sale will be held Wednesday through Friday, Oct. 4-6 from 10 a.m. - 4 p.m. and on Saturday, Oct. 7, from 10 a.m. - 12 p.m.
Books will be sold with by volume, $3 for a plastic bag full of books or $5 for a paper bag full. Donations will be accepted for individual books.
Proceeds from the book sale benefit the library.
