President Pat Dixon conducted the September 11 meeting of the Friends of the Library. It was announced the Fall book sale will be Oct. 4-7, starting at 10 a.m.
A plastic bagful of books will cost only $3. A paper grocery sack full of books will cost $5. Fewer books can be had for a donation.
Honey will be sold in conjunction with the book sale. The 11-ounce-bottles cost $10, and will be mailed to you from a boys and girls Christian ranch.Entertainer Bruce Wilburn will bring his Ho! Ho! Ho! Holiday Show to the Mt. Sherman Community Building to benefit the Friends of the Library. Admission is a donation to the FOL.
The organization is actively seeking new members. Its mission is to support the library by providing funds for unbudgeted programs and materials.
