The Food Bank of North Central Arkansas has announced an investment of $240,000 into school districts that are a part of the Food Bank’s network of partner hunger relief organizations. These TANF School Food Pantry Grants are designed to assist with the development or continuation of thirteen school food pantries across the region:
Alpena, Lead Hill and Omaha school districts received first year grants of $30,000 each.
Calico Rock, Cave City, Cotter, Flippin, Harrison, Jasper, Mammoth Spring, Mountain Home, Mountain View and Searcy County school districts each received returning grants of $20,000 each.
