Fish fry coming March 7

On Friday, March 7, come by the Newton County Senior Activity and Wellness Center for the monthly fish fry. For $11 the fish or chicken dinner includes hand breaded fired fish or chicken strips, coleslaw, pinto beans, hush puppies, pickled green tomatoes and peach crisp.
Additional fish is now $2 a piece or 10 for $15.
Meals at the center are offered to seniors for a $4 donation, Monday through Friday, from 11:30 a.m. - 12 p.m. All meals include 8 ounces of 2% milk. No age limit customers and carry out meals cost $8.60.

Thursday: Fried chicken, mashed potatoes, gravy buttered corn, wheat roll and chilled pudding.

Friday: Baked cubed steak and gravy, baked potato, baby lima beans, cornbread and fruited gelatin.
Monday - Chicken tender, macaroni and cheese, baked beans, biscuit and chilled peaches.
Tuesday - Fried fish, buttered corn, collard greens, hushpuppies and lemon creme pie.
Wednesday - Chicken fajitas, pepper and onions, Spanish rice, black beans and fresh fruit.
Thursday - Goulash, tossed salad, wheat roll and pound cake with strawberries.
Friday - Hamburger on wheat bun, French fries, creamy coleslaw and chilled pudding.
